AECS, Turamdih started its journey 10 years back with humble strength of 76 students. Now it boasts to have 747 students starting from classes LKG to class X. Education is being imparted not only to the wards of DAE but also as a social need to the economically and socially deprived children of nearby areas. It is heartening to note that UCIL had already started educating the children of the villages in its vicinity much before the introduction of RTE Act 2009. Development of all sections of the society is the motto of DAE and UCIL.

AECS, Turamdih has been giving 100% result in the Board Examination conducted by CBSE for the last four years with a comparable Quality Index and Excellence Index. This shows the commitment of the teachers, parents and studentsí determination to perform well in the examinations. I appreciate all the students and teachers who brought laurels for the institution in the field of academics and the other activities conducted by AEES.

The school gives stress on holistic development of the children. One thing which the world is facing today is the deterioration in the ethics and moral values amongst the young generation. Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. We are imparting such education through various activities so that the students become physically strong, mentally alert and academically sound. Learning is a process which does not end with the school. A student learns through various agencies. There is a need for a student to understand his priorities. At the same time all the elders who are associated with them should advise & caution if they move on wrong path. At the school level, character building is a must for a student. Character decides the quality of a person in the same way as carbon decides the quality of steel. A person of character is always held in high esteem by the society.

Dear students, you should understand that you are assets for the Nation and hence do such things which would increase our national pride as well as contribute to its all round development. I wish all the students best of luck in their future endeavour.
